GPS-guided construction equipment showing automated controls inside a modern construction vehicle

According to Wikipedia, construction robots are a specialized type of industrial robot used directly on building and infrastructure sites to automate manual, repetitive, or physically demanding tasks such as excavating, lifting heavy objects, tying rebar, installing drywall, and monitoring progress. These robots help reduce physical strain on workers, improve productivity, and enhance safety by taking on dangerous or labor-intensive work that would otherwise fall to humans. While adoption has been slower due to workspace challenges and industry conservatism, more companies in the U.S., Europe, and China are deploying robots on job sites to assist with tasks ranging from wall construction to inspection, and ongoing development continues to expand their capabilities.
